Induction Ceremony

The annual Induction Ceremony takes place each fall at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Florida. The event is held at 6 p.m., on an outdoor stage adjacent to the Hall of Fame. Inductees are welcomed by a fellow Hall of Fame member in front of fans, family, friends and other members. The ceremony is free and open to the public with limited seating provided. The ceremony is broadcast to an international audience on The Golf Channel.

During the ceremony, inductees receive a special hand-crafted crystal trophy commissioned by Waterford Crystal in Ireland. Exhibits open to the public on the day of the Induction Ceremony to celebrate the new class, and their personal items of selection are added to the Member Locker Room exhibit. Bronze relief plaques for each inductee are placed alongside the others on the "Wall of Fame," located in Shell Hall.
